Primary Grades Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Our primary grade classrooms are designed to nourish curiosity and instill the foundational concepts necessary for future academics.   As the first years of a child's education, lessons should be engaging, exciting and energetic in which the classroom is a print-rich environment designed to pique curiostiry about God's beautiful world.  Scripture is integrated throughout the curriculum and lessons are taught from a biblical worldview. 

Our primary educational experience includes instruction in the five core subject areas of English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Bible.  Both STEM and STEAM are incorporated in Science.  There is a strong focus on reading in our K-2nd program as it is vital in the formative years.  Students also participate in PE, Art, Music and Bible.  Students and are encouraged to participate in school-wide Christmas pageant that showcases student talentss and provides a Fine Arts experience.   

To balance instructional time, a student's daily schedule often includes additional time outside, brain breaks and free time which is beneficial both mentally and physically.  We  strive to maintain a positive, welcoming campus environment where students can take part in activities and events that nurture a sense of community and achievement!
